This course is for anyone looking to work in construction at an entry level as a labourer or apprentice tradesperson.

The 1 week introductory course will prepare delegates for work on a construction site, covering mandatory topics such as health and safety and manual handling.

On successful completion, candidates will obtain the Green Labourer CSCS Card.

Course overview

Our exclusive Skill STEP 1 programme has been developed to support and inspire new entrants to take their first STEP into construction. After this 1 week programme, candidates will gain a the basic knowledge of construction health and safety awareness to access sites as a labourer. On successful completion, candidates will obtain the Green Labourer CSCS Card.

What do I achieve?

A Skill STEP© 1 certificate pack, Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness and the Green CSCS Labourer card. *Learners will require the Health Safety and Environment Specialist Operatives Test.
