Inspiring young people to consider a career in construction begins long before they leave school. At AccXel, we are committed to working directly with students, teachers and career leads to raise awareness of the diverse and ambitious career opportunities our industry can offer.
We have built strong partnerships with several secondary schools, delivering engaging content that helps students understand the real world pathways available to them. Through hands on experiences, open conversations and industry insights, we aim to empower young people to make informed choices about their next steps and feel confident exploring a future in construction.
What can AccXel do for your school?
Our dedicated events team supports schools by attending careers fairs, assemblies and classroom sessions, all designed to broaden students understanding of the construction sector.
For younger students, we focus on building awareness of apprenticeships and busting common myths. For older pupils, we explore post-16 options and showcase the clear progression routes we offer into higher education.
We also provide on campus taster sessions at AccXel, where smaller groups of students can tour our facilities, meet our industry expert tutors and get hands-on with practical activities.
