Streetworks (NRSWA)

What is Streetworks?

The Streetworks NRSWA training course is designed for operatives and supervisors carrying out work on public highways and street works sites. It provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to work safely and legally in line with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) requirements.

The course helps delegates to:

  • Understand legal responsibilities and compliance under NRSWA
  • Set up, maintain, and remove safe signing, lighting, and guarding systems
  • Carry out excavation, reinstatement, and backfilling safely
  • Work safely around underground services and live highways
  • Reduce risks to workers, road users, and the public
  • Meet the requirements for gaining a Streetworks qualification and registration

Course Information

Duration: 5 Days

Delivery: This course is delivered in person at AccXel.

Accommodation: If you’re travelling to attend training, accommodation is available through our partner hotel, The Belfry Hotel, located 2 miles from AccXel.

*If you are a CITB registered company, you may be able to claim back 80% of accommodation costs. Eligibility depends on the course and CITB grant requirements. Please contact us for more information.*
