What is SSSTS?

The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is a two-day programme designed for those who have, or are about to have, supervisory responsibilities on construction sites. It covers health and safety legislation, risk assessments, control measures, and effective communication to help maintain a strong safety culture across the workforce.

The course helps site supervisors to:

Understand health and safety law and how it applies to their role
Manage their supervisory responsibilities for safe site operations
Recognise the importance of risk assessments and method statements
Deliver effective site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
Monitor site activities and identify unsafe practices
Understand the importance of timely intervention when bad practice is identified

Course Information

Duration: 2 Days

Delivery: This course is delivered in person at AccXel.

Accommodation: If you’re travelling to attend training, accommodation is available through our partner hotel, The Belfry Hotel, located 2 miles from AccXel.
