Construction Support Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3)

What is a Construction Support Technician?

Construction Support Technicians help keep projects running smoothly, working across both site and office environments. They support professional teams and coordinate vital behind-the-scenes processes.

They also:

  • Assist in estimating, planning, buying, quantity surveying, and design & build
  • Manage digital project information using specialist software
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and external suppliers
  • Ensure work is delivered on time, to quality, and within budget
  • Build skills to progress into specialist construction roles

How does the apprenticeship work?

Apprenticeships offer a mix of classroom learning, practical training and real site experience.

1 day a week at AccXel – You’ll study both theory and practical skills on our live mock site, designed to simulate real construction environments.

4 days a week with an employer – You’ll then put your learning to practice on actual construction projects, gaining valuable experience and knowledge alongside skilled professionals.

Portfolio & Final Assessment – You’ll build a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme, then complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) to achieve your qualification.

Earn While You Learn – You’ll be paid a wage for the entire duration of your apprenticeship, gaining a recognised qualification at no cost to you.
