Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)

What is SEATS?

The CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS) course is a one-day programme designed for site supervisors, managers, and anyone looking to improve their understanding of environmental responsibilities on construction sites. It covers key legislation, environmental risks, and practical ways to reduce the impact of construction activities on the surrounding environment.

The course helps delegates to:

  • Understand environmental legislation and legal responsibilities on site
  • Reduce nuisance and disturbance to neighbours and surrounding areas
  • Protect wildlife, ecosystems, water resources, and heritage sites
  • Apply environmental management systems to reduce site impact
  • Prevent pollution and manage contaminated land safely
  • Use resources responsibly and manage waste effectively

Course Information

Duration: 1 Day

Delivery: This course is delivered in person at AccXel.

Accommodation: If you’re travelling to attend training, accommodation is available through our partner hotel, The Belfry Hotel, located 2 miles from AccXel.
